PHILOSOPHY
The intersection of design and marketing is where creativity and entrepreneurship alchemize to foster innovation. A place in which new ideas can come to fruition and are tested against the data of our experiences.
When placed together, we can create design strategies that are holistic to consumers; that respond to dynamic ecosystems. As problem solvers, we rely on design methodologies to make a difference. Together our interdependence can affect positive change in our world.
Passionate about design functions as a direct medium to consumers and the language of marketing in which we communicate to the end-user. I focus my time and energy on helping emerging creatives understand business practices and user insights to foster their growth in tandem with their marketplace.

WILSON SCHOOL OF DESIGN / KPU
The Wilson School of Design at KPU is where art, business, technology, converge. KPU is a leader in progressive learning environments and innovative pedagogy. The continued work in the Melville School of Business fosters connections between these disciplines and creates a bridge.
At Kwantlen, we offer the chance for design students to take marketing courses, and we encourage marketing students to experience design. This mutual exposure taps into the infinite potential for growth, for our students, faculties and the university. This relationship holds unlimited potential a vision supported through confidence. My work here is to continue to foster this powerful connection because the future is dynamic—as dynamic as this pair.
Celebrating 15 years in art and design education, I been with the Wilson School of Design for 5 years holding the seat as the Chair of the Foundation in Design program for 4 years. I also am a faculty member in the marketing department of the Melville School of Business and am in my second term as faculty senator at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. I teach an array of classes from creative design to marketing practices.
